A presentation in honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day will be given from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview Animal Hospital, 670 South Camino del Rio.
A deputy from the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office will give a free presentation with his dog, Jimmy. Riverview Animal Hospital provides free veterinary services to two police dogs at the Sheriff’s Office.
A meet-and-greet with Jimmy will be held after the presentation.
