In response to Steve Martin’s letter (Herald, Jan. 20) where he refers to a Springs senate candidate calling a “sitting U.S senator” a bozo and bobble head. Senators are not elitists beyond reproach, although many politicians think they are, which is another excellent reason for term limits. Well he was accurate, Michael Bennet is a “bobble head doll,” he is a mindless rubber stamp for anything Obama wants. I have written him many times and his responses are evident of that fact.
I applaud U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton, R-Cortez, for disagreeing with Obama’s attack on coal; it produces more of the energy we use than any other method. Both it and natural gas are cheap, and also very important, reliable sources of electricity, and constantly becoming cleaner. Obama’s answer has been to pay back his financial backers many times over, which include the likes of George Kaiser’s Solyndra, Colorado’s Pat Stryker’s Abound Solar and so many other failures with stimulus plan money and beyond. (Remember “Shovel ready wasn’t as shovel ready as we thought,” shovel ready got 6 percent of the money, while so much more went to his cronies.)
Does it not bother anyone that all the elites fly to “climate change” conferences in private jets and then get driven in limousines?
Now, as far as Martin’s “Donald Trump enough said” comment, Hillary Clinton is not enough said, we have to include consummate liar, corrupt, no accomplishments in office, chronically involved in scandals dating back for decades, seller of favors to foreign powers for contributions and the originator of “the war on women” for her attacks on the women her husband molested and raped. But actually I am for Hillary – going to jail.
