Animas Alano Club will host a community fundraiser event, “A Place to Call Home,” at 5 p.m. Oct. 5 at the club, 2601 Junction St.
The event will feature live and silent auctions, live music by local musicians, dinner catered by Manna soup kitchen, games and prizes. Proceeds will benefit the Animas Alano Club and will go toward purchase of its current leased facility. AAC strives to serve those recovering from addiction by providing a welcoming place to support meetings and fellowship.
Tickets are $30 for singles and $50 for couples.
