11:17 a.m. A woman locked herself out, and her 3-year-old child was in a vehicle at Walmart.

Sunday

1:11 a.m. People jumped out of a truck and began beating up a man near East Eighth Avenue and Fifth Street.

2:07 a.m. Someone reported a loud party with a bonfire in the east 500 block of Fifth Street.

9:35 a.m. A house was egged overnight in the 2100 block of West Second Avenue.

6:39 p.m. A drunken man was passed out in some trees near East Second Avenue and Fifth Street. Police made an arrest.

Saturday

10:29 p.m. Neighbors were being loud at 60 Westwood Place. Police issued a warning.

Friday

3:05 p.m. A man had a handgun in his back pocket in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

8:19 p.m. Someone reported that metal flew off a carnival ride, and it hit someone’s sister at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.

7:22 a.m. A trash bin was on fire in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

Sunday

10:03 a.m. Someone reported smoke near Shalona Lake, in the 15000 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250).

Saturday

12:05 p.m. Medics from the Bodo Park fire station responded to someone who had a stroke.

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 45 calls Saturday through Monday.
