Democrats, stop your whining, you lost!

Lately, there have been many letters written by whimpering Democrats concerning abolishing the Electoral College.

It was written into the Constitution because the smaller colonies did not want Philadelphia and New York, being so populous, to control presidential elections. Alexander Hamilton: “The point of the Electoral College is to preserve the sense of the people.”

This new movement started with the loss by John Kerry and recently the loss by self-serving, lying Hillary Clinton, because they won the popular vote. Concerning Clinton, if Los Angeles County and New York City are removed from the picture, President Donald Trump wins the popular vote. Considering that those two cities are deemed to be more filthy than many third-world large cities, that they are deep in debt and getting deeper, and that they have been run (actually run down) by Democratic politicians, I am very happy that “fly over country” gets a say in presidential elections, and that those voters don’t decide elections for the country.

If Democrats want to win national elections, perhaps they should listen to the citizens and actually promote a platform that is economically and socially in step with people’s needs.

What people don’t need is eight more failed years of high taxes, onerous regulations, a stagnant economy, growing income disparity, etc., like we had with President Barack Obama. So Democrats, save your drivel and whining, you lost!
