Kristie Pretti-Frontczak will give a free presentation, “Teach Before the Peak,” to Durango School District administrators, educators, child care professionals and parents from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Needham Elementary School, 2425 West Third Ave.
The presentation will help those who care for young children learn proven, innovative strategies and tactics to deal with childhood behaviors that can be challenging.
Pretti-Frontczak will walk attendees through what to do before, during and after difficult behavior strikes, and address how to prevent it before it begins.
An author and consultant, Pretti-Frontczak will be share her whole-child approach, which unites educators and caregivers in forming an aligned and cohesive support system for children.
