Police Chief Bob Brammer will address the Rotary Club of Durango about the current status of the Durango Police Department, where it is headed and future needs during its dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Appointed police chief on April 17, Brammer is a 20-year law enforcement veteran. In his 14 years at DPD, he has served as a patrol officer, detective, SWAT sniper, commander of Operations Support and four months as interim chief before his appointment.
