Bear Tomlinson, a Durango resident and Fort Lewis College marketing graduate from Honolulu, Hawaii, with his wife, Emma, recently started a business, Durango Balloon Co., which will be featured in the Snowdown Light Parade at 6 p.m. Friday on Main Avenue.
They will be handing out red balloons in anticipation of Valentine’s Day during the parade.
Durango Balloon Co. specializes in balloon decoration, with a focus on festivals, birthdays, graduations, weddings and special events. It offers a variety of balloon arches, bouquets, columns, towers and more.
Tomlinson has a background in the craft beer and hospitality industries, and has worked for Home of the Brave, Kona, Ska, Budweiser, Animas and Durango brewing companies.
