The city of Durango is facing some major financial issues. How to pay for them is the overriding problem.
What is comforting to know is that there are two very strong City Council candidates, Kim Baxter and Barbara Noseworthy, both of whom have the determination to address the city’s problems.
Their earlier work and managerial skill sets have prepared them to seek long-term solutions. While coming from differing backgrounds, these high-quality individuals have solid (many would say outstanding) resumes and the financial backgrounds needed to move Durango forward in a positive way.
For this most important position, I hope Durango voters will elect Kim Baxter and Barbara Noseworthy to City Council.
