La Plata County Economic Development Alliance will hold its economic summit conference, “Leadership: The Power of Us,” from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Sky Ute Casino Resort, 14324 Highway 172, in Ignacio.
Kimber Lanning, founder and executive director of Local First Arizona, will give a keynote address, “Local Economies and Livable Places: The Case for Collaboration.” Workshops, exhibitors and networking will be featured.
