Many local churches will hold special services Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. All services will take place Christmas Eve, Tuesday, unless otherwise noted.

All Saints Anglican Church, Fort Lewis College Chapel. Candlelight service with the traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols and Holy Communion at 6 p.m.
Christ the King Lutheran Church, 495 Florida Road. Outdoor stable service at 3 p.m. at La Plata County Fairgrounds; contemporary candlelight service at 5 p.m.; traditional candlelight service at 7 p.m.
Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, 1400 Colorado Highway 172. Reflective worship with communion at 6 p.m.

Heart of the Rockies Fellowship, Animas Valley Elementary School, 373 Hermosa Meadows Road. Worship at 6 p.m. Dress is casual.
St. Columba Catholic Church, 1830 East Second Ave. School children’s Mass at 4 p.m.; Mass led by religious education classes and youth at 6 p.m.; Mass at 8 p.m.; midnight Mass at 12 a.m.; Mass at 10 a.m. Christmas Day.
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave. Children’s worship service with attendees encouraged to dress as their favorite pageant character at 4 p.m.; candlelight Eucharist with choir at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.; service of Holy Communion at 9 a.m. Christmas Day.
Pine Valley Church, 1328 County Road 501 in Bayfield. Family service at 5:30 p.m.
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango, 419 San Juan Drive. Service at 5 p.m.
