San Juan Mountains Association and San Juan National Forest will offer a leisurely “butterflies and blooms” hike from 9:30 a.m. to noon July 30 along Elbert Creek.
Interpretive guide MK Gunn will lead the hike and teach participants about wildflowers and butterflies.
Those who attend should be prepared for any kind of weather, and bring water, snacks, a hat, sunscreen, rain gear and appropriate shoes for hiking.
The event is free and open to all.
