1:44 a.m. A raccoon was trapped inside a laundry room at Best Western Mountain Shadows, 3255 Main Ave.

11:54 a.m. About 15 cars were parked in the center lane in the 400 block of Jenkins Ranch Road in the SkyRidge subdivision. Police issued citations.

3:39 p.m. A man jumped off a bridge and possibly needed rescuing near Albertsons, 311 W. College Drive. Police made an arrest.

9:20 p.m. A drunken man was grabbing food off people’s plates at Irish Embassy, 900 Main Ave.

Saturday

9:13 p.m. A driver of a City Market semi-trailer almost hit a woman, and he was not slowing down in the 100 block of South Camino del Rio, near Santa Rita Park.

Friday

12:43 p.m. The back window of a woman’s car was knocked out, and the car was broken into in the DoubleTree Hotel parking lot.

3:19 p.m. Bracelets were stolen from Earthbound Trading, 532 Main Ave.

8:01 p.m. Items were stolen from a locker at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

11:52 p.m. A bouncer was assaulted at Lady Falconburgh’s, 640 Main Ave.

Firefighters and medics responded to 65 calls, including two water rescues, eight traffic crashes, two brush fires and an assault.
