The Associated Press story in the Herald about Trump “degrading” the EU ambassador was simply false/fake news designed to smear Trump.
I’m not a Trump fan, but compared to liberal journalists, Trump is a truth-telling saint.
The “downgrading” that the AP and The Washington Post, and now the Herald were moaning about pertains to where diplomats are seated at dinners, the order in which they are called to pay respects at state funerals and other such trivial matters.
Worse yet, the Trump administration’s “downgrade” of the EU ambassador simply restores him to the spot in the diplomatic pecking order he held until 2016, under the Obama administration.
So the whole story is fake in the sense that the actual facts were kept from the reading public. Deliberately. And the Herald colludes with the AP, The Washington Post and The New York Times, all three of which are making an attempt to give enough bad publicity to Trump to get him unseated from the position he won in a democratic election.
Let’s not hear anymore talk about how the people need the press to get the objective facts: The liberal press deliberately hides any facts that might have a negative effect on Democrats.
