To the students protesting Randy Banks’ recent arrest (Herald, Mar. 22):
I would remind you that the First Amendment applies to everyone, not just people with whom you agree.
Please keep this in mind when you choose to protest something, because you look like a bunch of babies who cannot even be presented with a viewpoint you disagree with, not the future leaders of this country.
Not everyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi, and if you want to be protected by the First Amendment, you had better accept that it may result in hearing opinions you disagree with.
