Small, home-based businesses can greatly benefit from services available at Pine River Public Library. A local CPA asks for your YES vote so the Library can continue to provide study rooms for patrons to meet with other people in a safe and public location.
When I started my own CPA practice five years ago, I knew only a handful of places in Bayfield I could meet with clients that did not want to drive out to my home office in the country. Coffee shops are good places, but sometime the noise level or the need for confidential conversations made these places impractical. So I checked out Pine River Public Library.
The library offers study rooms that accommodate up to four people and can be booked in advance. This has enabled me to have a place to meet clients in Bayfield who need a short meeting or consultation. These study rooms are offered free of charge and the current library hours are great for meetings or studying.
Issue 6A will be on the ballot for those voters in the Bayfield School District.
Revenues that fund this library have been cut 24 percent since 2016 and another 14-20 percent is expected in 2019 and 2020. If this ballot issue does not pass, library hours and staff hours will have to be cut, including availability to these wonderful study rooms.
Please vote YES for the Pine River Public Library ballot issue 6A.
