Huntington best choice for LPEA board

I have known Dan Huntington, the incumbent candidate for La Plata Electric Association District 2, for the better part of 20 years, and every encounter I’ve had with him has been polite, honest, thoughtful, meaningful and for the betterment of our community.

Dan’s integrity has always been above reproach. He has been upfront about being a net-metering participant and has abstained from voting on this controversial issue. We need more directors to follow his lead. Dan doesn’t oppose renewable energy at all, in fact, he sees the value in utility-scale projects that can add downward pressure to rates.

His work ethic is impeccable. Like his tireless efforts managing his multigenerational ranch, Dan works just as hard for his fellow LPEA members.

Huntington will continue to keep our electric co-op diverse in its energy options, safe and reliable, and affordable for its member-owners.

I am proudly voting for Dan Huntington, LPEA District 2. Please join me.
