Silver SPRUCE Academy is preparing for the 2016-2017 school year. SPRUCE offers enrichment programs for curriculum education and homeschooling students. SPRUCE operates as a shared-school program with fee based options. Classes are offered in Gem Village, Ignacio ELHI, and around the Four Corners Area.
Reigstration is now open. The registration form is online on the SPRUCE website, www.silverspruceacademy.org.
There is a one-time $50 registration fee per family. Families need to fill out a family form and a student form for each student planning to attend the program.
The program will hold an informational meeting from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18 at the ELHI classrooms to learn about the program, homeschooling options and enrichment offerings.
A board meeting begins at 6 p.m. There will be three open seats in January 2017 for those interested in serving on our board.
Fall classes will be published on the website on Aug. 17 for viewing.
Returning student enrollment will be online on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Open enrollment for new students will be online Wednesday, Aug. 24 and Thursday, Aug. 25.
Enrollment into SPRUCE is accepted on a first-come bases. A registration form must be on file and fee paid before enrollment in classes is accepted.
Enrollment will be capped at 100 students for the 2016-2017 year.
