According to your article, (Jan. 11) the Pine River Times will no longer be a newspaper we can actually hold in our hands, read at leisure and enjoy the reporting by Melanie Mazur!
Oh sure, go online and do everything - some of the faithful followers of the Times do not even have computers so they are left out in the cold!
You mention the money factor: of course, we all know it takes subscriptions, advertisers, etc., to keep a paper up and running.
Here is a novel idea - how about cutting one day of the Herald off and printing the Times; it is a better read anyway.
Joel Priest does an excellent job reporting sports and Melanie is one of the best ... just keep in mind who your subscribers are!
