50 years ago: FLORIDA MESA – “It seems that many if not most of the men folk on the mesa and on Florida Road are or have been hunting.”

25 years ago: An advertisement for Toot’s Hallmark Shop in the Main Mall read: “Need a unique idea for Halloween? We’ve got the ghoulish get-ups and set-ups. Hurry in soon, before they disappear. Professional Quality Costumes for adults and children.”
