It was great to read your editorial, “Exciting, ambitious plans to cut carbon in Colorado” (Herald, Sept 21) in the Aspen Daily News (Sept. 30).
But it is strange that you didn’t mention climate change.
The denial of human-caused climate change isn’t so bad until one has to pay for destroyed public infrastructure, lost private property or experience lost lives.
With the great rise of multibillion-dollar weather disasters in our country, it is time that we start to live sustainably and pass on a healthy environment and economy to our children and grandchildren.
God’s creation is not ours to abuse.
