Ballantine Fund to discuss applications

The grants managers of the Ballantine Family Fund will visit these locations to launch a new online grant application:

9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at First National Bank of Cortez, 2258 E. Main St., Cortez.

Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Mancos Public Library, 211 E. First St., Mancos.

9 to 10 a.m. Jan. 7 at the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library, 811 San Juan St., Pagosa Springs.

Noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 7 at the Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield.

Noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 13 at the First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St., Durango.

The presentations will provide nonprofit organizations in Southwest Colorado the opportunity to review the new application with the grant managers of the Ballantine Family Fund and ask questions about the updated grant-seeking process.

The online application directly addresses best practices and simplifies the grant-seeking experience for users.

Glass & Glass Bodywork set to move

George and Lori Ann Glass announce that the office for Glass & Glass Bodywork will move to a new location at 100 Jenkins Ranch Road, Suite D, effective Monday.

The physical location is in the office complex located just behind the gas station off the traffic circle by Fort Lewis College. The suite is located on the inside corner of the building on the ground level.

Durango chamber hosts Tuesday Talk

The Durango Chamber of Commerce will host Tuesday Talk at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at Carver Brewing Co., 1022 Main Ave.

This will be a casual networking event. “Safety in the Workplace” will be discussed. Reservations are required.

Tickets available to Durango Rocks

The Durango Rocks Awards Event will take place Jan. 21 at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.

A reception will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The awards are at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $25 before Thursday and $30 beginning Friday.
