The city of Durango has released a draft version of the City Water Master Plan developed with SEH Engineering for the city’s long-term water needs.
The plan identifies current water system demands and develops projections for growth as well as the need for expanded firefighting services throughout the city. The plan covers projected growth for 50 years and identifies improvements for each area as demand increases over time.
The Infrastructure Advisory Board will discuss the topic at its July 12 meeting, and public workshops will be announced in the coming weeks.
