Durango School District 9-R needs 30 to 40 volunteers for its fourth annual “Keys to High School Success” conference for eighth-grade boys about to transition to high school.
The conference, which will be held May 5, aims to give students the appropriate tools for success during and after high school. Interactive workshops will allow students to explore topics related to healthy relationships, positive self-image and advocacy.
Anyone interested in volunteering must sign up before March 17.
