Animas High School students taught by Ally Johnson will present a sophomore humanities exhibition, “Narratives from the Nest,” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive.
Students will take the stage to tell true tales of trial and triumph, without notes, in the style of the Raven Narratives and the Moth. Stories were inspired from studying the hero’s journey: the idea that epic stories follow a narrative of a hero who leaves home, faces fears, overcomes challenges and returns home to share knowledge.
