City of Durango invites feedback about transportation needs

The city of Durango is updating its Multimodal Transportation Plan and seeks community feedback about how Durango’s transportation network could be improved at a neighborhood meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday in the Animas Room at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.

The plan is updated every four years to address changing multimodal transportation needs in the community. The city is conducting neighborhood meetings and other outreach this year to gather residents’ input.

The full schedule of neighborhood meetings is available at www.DurangoGov.org/MTP.

Residents may also share their vision for better transportation connectivity on an interactive Multimodal Ideas Map and by taking a short survey at www.DurangoGov.org/VCH.
