The La Plata County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an alternate position on the planning commission.
This commission acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners with respect to land-use planning.
The Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. up to four Thursdays each month to consider short- and long-range land-use issues. Terms are for three years.
Members must be at least 18 years old and must be residents of La Plata County.
