La Plata County Sheriff’s Office declines to release details of investigation
The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office performed a large “evidentiary search” Tuesday northeast of Durango, which included several law enforcement vehicles.
The search occurred from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. southwest of Lemon Reservoir.
The Sheriff's Office declined to comment about the search, saying only it is an active investigation and presents no threat to the public.
