You know things are getting at least a little back to normal when you can catch a performance of the “Rocky Horror Show” over the Halloween weekend in Durango. Durango Arts Center will offer two shows at 7 and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and a show at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Sing and dance the “Time Warp” along with Brad and Janet as they discover the wonders “over at the Frankenstein place” as they learn about love, life and ... transvestite aliens.
Tickets cost $25 and – because it wouldn’t be “Rocky Horror” without props – you can buy a prop bag for $5 the night of the performance.
A couple of things to keep in mind: because of the, ahem, mature nature of the show, audience members 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. And because we’re still dealing with COVID-19, you must have proof either of FDA- or WHO-approved vaccination or negative PCR test (not rapid or home test) within 72 hours of the event with matching photo ID in order to enter the theater.
