The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Wednesday that the Fort Lewis and Colorado Christian University men’s basketball game scheduled for Saturday has been postponed in accordance with the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

A makeup date for the game between the Skyhawks and Cougars has not been scheduled. Further information regarding the potential rescheduling of these games will be announced later by the conference.

CCU’s game Friday at Western Colorado also has been postponed.

Citing the recent COVID surge, the league postponed other games, including Regis University men’s matchups Friday at Black Hills State and Saturday with Chadron State College.

Six women’s basketball games have been postponed in the past week, including four scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The postponed games include CCU vs. Western Colorado, University of Colorado Colorado Springs vs. Regis, Westminster vs. Chadron and Colorado Mesa vs, UCCS.

Two CCU women’s games were postponed last week. As of Wednesday night, FLC was scheduled to take on the Cougars Saturday.
