The Great Southwest Boy Scouts of America and local Boy Scouts of America units are collecting food donations for their annual Scouting for Food Drive, benefiting Durango Food Bank.
Scouts will drop information cards at doors in area neighborhoods. Residents can leave nonperishable food donations (no glass) outside their home by 9 a.m. Feb. 19 and the scouts will return to retrieve it.
Those who do not receive information cards may email scoutingforfoodsjmd@gmail.com to arrange for pickup. Donations will also be accepted on the day of the drive from 9-11 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 495 Florida Road.
