iAM Music will host a summer music festival and late show at 5 and 9 p.m. Saturday at Buckley Park, 1200 Main Ave.

The 5 p.m. show includes Paa Kow, Afrobeatniks, Secret Circus Society, Cruz & The Castaways and Nu Bass Theory. Piramids plays the late show.

Merely Players will stage “The Children” by Lucy Kirkwood at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The play tells the story of two retired nuclear scientists who live in an isolated cottage by the sea. In the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, they are determined to preserve normalcy even as the world around them crumbles. When an old friend arrives with a frightening request, they must explore notions of accountability, guilt and mortality.
