Seniors Outdoors announces activities
Seniors Outdoors will offer these activities:
New Mexico Arch Hunting with Larry Beck will take place at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Beck will lead a series of hikes to find some of northern New Mexico’s many arches. The group will drive on oil and gas roads to several locations and then take short hikes to find arches. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are required. The cost to carpool is $4. A Monday bike ride for intermediate road cyclists will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday. This is a no-drop, social ride of 16 miles from Home Depot to Bread. The Wednesday Wanderers will hike the Vallecito Creek Trail at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. The group will hike at a casual pace to the first bridge at the farthest. Early turn-backs with a partner will be allowed. Dogs will not be allowed. Non-members should RSVP to Tom and Lydine Hannula at 884-9052 or 426-9684.
