As a fun way to do some conditioning, the Igncio Middle School football team participated in the Dye-versity Dash on Aug. 15 in Ignacio sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. The three-kilometer colorful run and walk promoted family health and allowed local youth to turn themselves blue, green, purple and pink with powdered dye. The football team starts their season Aug. 29 against Dolores.
