Wolverines shine in homecoming week Football wins big, volleyball and soccer try hard

A Tuesday volleyball loss, wins by the sophomore class on Thursday, a huge football triumph on Friday, and another tough loss for BHS soccer showed Bayfield Wolverines that "The Game of Life" has its ups and downs.

This year's homecoming parade had a theme of board games, and classes built floats portraying Monopoly, Battleship and Candyland. Even the Bayfield administration got into the fun, with staffers and board members dressing as pieces and cards from Life (the game, not the magazine.)

At halftime Friday night, the BHS band took football fans through a tour of Europe, including a stop in Germany for the Beer Barrel Polka.

Sydney Milner was crowned homecoming queen, while Sam Kundrick was named king. This year's royal attendants are Sianna Harrison, Ariel Fender, Katie Hawkins, Kyle Killough, Kelton McCoy and Frankie Turner.
