Fort Lewis students looking at on-slope safety

FLC class conducting survey through Wednesday

Fort Lewis College students are focusing on opinions of ski areas, perceptions of on-slope safety, and the development of messaging so that various groups “slide with respect” as part of a two-course sequence.

The first phase of the research is focused on getting input from “snowsliders” (including skiers, snowboarders and snow bikers) using a survey that was designed as part of a marketing research class taught by Tom Miaskiewicz

The survey will be active until Wednesday at https://bit.ly/3EIGrXO.

Miaskiewicz said if people are able to participate and/or share the survey with their friends, the class would greatly appreciate it. “By doing so you are helping us collect as much data as possible and develop effective messaging that is driven by the results of our research,” he said.

This survey will take six to 10 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, people will have the option to be entered into a raffle for a pair of Smith I/O MAG goggles as well as the Leki Peak Vario 3D Poles.
