Durango’s traditional Turkey Trot returns this year with a 5-mile race and a 1-mile fun run.
The course starts at 10 a.m. at Fort Lewis College campus near the Student Union, goes around campus on Rim Drive, then up into the Hillcrest neighborhood, down past the reservoir, around the back of Hillcrest golf course and back to the FLC for a finish at the clocktower.
An aid station with water and Powerade will be provided. There are difficult hill climbs.
Proceeds will go local charities.
