The Powerhouse Science Center, in partnership with Maria’s Bookshop, is hosting storyteller, scientist and 2022 MacArthur Fellow Robin Wall Kimmerer at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Powerhouse, 1333 Camino del Rio.
The sold out presentation is about the interconnectedness of humans and the natural world and the unfailing wisdom nature has to offer.
For those unable to attend Kimmerer’s presentation, she will be speaking again at the Fort Lewis College SkyWords Visiting Writer Series at 1 p.m. April 20.
The Powerhouse speaker series is part of “Roots of Wisdom,” the latest gallery exhibit at center, which will run through Jan. 1. The “Roots of Wisdom” speaker series highlights the important work of three Indigenous scientists and their contributions to ecological restoration, biology and water conservation.
