How many of us actually know the people we are voting for? I met Paul Black years ago when he lived on the same county road as me. I was stuck in the snow when Paul, a busy rancher, saw me and stopped and asked to help me out. That is the kind of man he is.
Does that mean he is the man for us as a county commissioner? Not necessarily. But what I do want is someone who is a doer as well as a thinker. I want someone who will do the unglamorous, will look to uphold the interest of the individual as well as the business owner. Someone who will not take the easy way but rather the right way. I am honored to say I know him to be that kind of man, and for that reason I ask you to join me in voting for Paul Black for La Plata County commissioner.
