Kamala Harris gave her concession speech with grace and dignity, telling her supporters to be optimistic about the future. She didn’t claim the election was rigged against her. She didn’t encourage her supporters to march on Congress. She’s not scheming with Rudy Giuliani and other kooks to manufacture votes or create fake electors. Of course, the blaming has begun – Biden got out too late, Kamala didn’t have a clear enough message on the economy, the Middle East conflict turned both Arab and Jewish Americans away, etc., etc. But the choice in this election was clear: normalcy and decency … or chaos, hate and division. The majority of Americans chose chaos, hate and division, and unfortunately, that is what we all will get.
