Official: FBI now has Clinton’s emails

WASHINGTON – A U.S. official says the FBI has taken possession of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails, a few of which have been deemed to contain classified information.

The official is not authorized to be quoted by name and requested anonymity.

The official says the FBI recovered two thumb drives containing the emails from Clinton’s lawyer.

Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley says two of the emails, which traversed Clinton’s insecure home email server, were deemed “Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information.”

UN peacekeepers accused of killing 2

UNITED NATIONS – Amnesty International is accusing U.N. peacekeepers of indiscriminately killing a 16-year-old boy and his father and raping a 12-year-old girl in separate incidents in Central African Republic, the latest in a series of misconduct allegations against peacekeepers there.

The Amnesty International statement said the two incidents on Aug. 2 and 3 occurred as the peacekeepers were carrying out an operation in the capital, Bangui.

UN. peacekeepers have been in the country since September to try to calm violence between Christians and Muslims.
