The Animas Valley Grange will host a workshop for “Abstract Plein Air Painting” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Animas Valley Grange Hall, 7271 County Road 203.
Local artist Ann Bauer will offer a hands-on introduction to a nontraditional approach to painting landscapes. All ages welcome.
Bring sketchbook, 1-inch brush and one smaller, one sheet 10x14 watercolor paper and tubes of red, yellow, blue, white and black paint. The program is free and open to the public.
