Respect wildlife, stop spreading glass

Many of us recreate on the Horse Gulch trails and have seen the shards of glass that some people have spread around. The shards are clearly not there by accident. My assumption is this has been done to cause flat tires on bicycles. My assumption is also that this has been done due to some “beef” the glass spreaders have with cyclists.

An unintended consequence that the glass throwers may not have considered is how many shards have embedded in the paws of wildlife. We should assume that some level of wildlife suffering is happening.

My plea to the glass shard throwers is to please stop it for no other reason than to respect the wildlife.
