There’s a difference point,
below which you won’t care to know
about your fellow,
whether up or down the Mississippi,
Colorado, Columbia, or Ohio.
Sometimes, as during World War Two,
it remains fairly low,
but in other periods, it may rise,
until at times like right now,
it’s actually pretty high,
and it’s in these latter stretches
all kinds of bunkum artists
can slip things by,
until it might require another Lincoln
for things to settle back again,
so Kindly, mind where yours is at, friend.
