How do we identify an ICE agent? This is what we’ve learned. Well … they wear face masks. Originally, they were described as ski masks, easy to put on and reasonably comfortable. Now, they like a more jazzy look and use silk scarves or printed material wound around the face and head. Old fashioned – rob a stagecoach – bandannas are not recommended as they are easily jerked off in case of a shuffle. They generally sport a waist-length jacket, a black leather-looking material – more official-looking and giving a bulked up look to the arms and body.
ICE agents drive all kinds of vehicles with no identifying emblems, but in that case, a small stash of license plates is kept handy. If you are approached by a group of these agents – they are social creatures – and you are calling for help, it basically does no good. After all, we know not to interfere in the act of “enforcing the law.”
One problem is that many of these agents are not on the government payroll. What to do to get paid? Well, robbery, carjacking, stealing bicycles and kidnapping (a little more complicated) are generally lucrative.
Have a nice day, everybody.
