The annual International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
It is an event in which survivors of suicide loss and their friends and family come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experience. The day will include time to share stories, guided self-care activities, speaker, food and connection. Local behavioral health providers will be onsite to provide support and resources as needed.
The day is supported by: The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado, The CODY Project, La Plata County Suicide Prevention Collaborative and La Plata County Public Health Department.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided at this free event.
