Waggoner
La Plata Electric Association recently announced that staff engineer Ryne Waggoner passed the Colorado Principles and Practice of Engineering exam, administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, which qualifies him as a licensed professional engineer registered in Colorado.
Waggoner returned to Durango after intensive experience with the space systems division at Lockheed Martin, Denver. He has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in “mechatronics” from University of Denver.
