The La Plata Family Center has moved to a new location, 495 Florida Road, in the lower level of Christ the King Lutheran church.
The center is now co-housed with Cafe au Play. An outdoor play area for children five years and younger is available weekday mornings with parent attendance.
The center provides a variety of family support and education programs including resource and referral services. Families with children under 18 years of age are invited to participate in a formal research study to measure the impact of center services and are paid for their time to participate.
