The Farmington Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking public input for the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan through virtual open houses at noon, 1 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The plan will examine regional transportation issues and develop a vision for meeting long-term needs across all modes of transportation. As funding for transportation is limited, the plan will also consider how to best use federal funding available to the region.
Input gathered from the public during two virtual open houses will help guide plan development. In addition, attendees will learn about the region’s transportation system.
Those interested in participating are asked to email fmpo@fmtn.org by Monday for login information. Emails should indicate which session the participant is interested in attending.
The Metropolitan Planning Organization is encouraging the public to take this opportunity to help shape transportation planning for the region.
