The La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold its “On the Road” public meeting series at several locations in La Plata County this summer.
The meetings, which are open to all county residents, provide an opportunity for informal discussion with the commissioners and key staff members, including Community Development, Office of Emergency Management, Road and Bridge and the Sheriff’’ Office.
Meetings are scheduled for these dates and locations:
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 24, Breen Community Building, 15300 Highway 140, Hesperus.
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 22, Ignacio Community Library, 470 Goddard Ave., Ignacio.
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 5, Animas Valley Grange, 7271 County Road 203.
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26, Vallecito Lake Event Center, 17252 County Road 501, Bayfield.
